Luke 10:25-37
Youth @ FAA session2
The question we always asked is "who is our neighbour?"
2 Bs often becomes obstacle for us to answer such question. Busy and blinded (by own pride, prejudice and problems). Such are these obstacles that we sometimes can't spend some time knowing our neighbour well.
Let's not allow these Bs to distract us from knowing our neighbour well and be a blessing to them

Genesis 37:5-9
Youth @ FAA session 1
Topic was about DREAMS and one of the famous Bible characters that has to do with dreams is Joseph.
In Genesis 37:5-9, he received dreams and it got him excited of what God has for Him. Of course, along the way, it got him into trouble and encountered problems after problems.
By Genesis 42, the dreams came to past where Joseph able to experience what he was deposited with.
Often, we can get excited about goals, dreams, visions but lost our direction along the way especially when obstacles and problems step in. I am not sure how discourage Joseph can be when he faced these obstacles but however, he stood tall and trust in God.
Dreams often drive our life, but God-given dreams drive a God-led life.

1 Timothy 4:12
Once awhile, I will post here some devotion and sharing I did with some groups that I shared with like worship team, mentoring and youth group.
This morning, I just shared from a verse that really formed the foundation of my faith and encourage me in my serving again and again.
Paul wrote this verse to encourage Timothy in his ministry and asked him not to be fearful. I think same can be said to us even today. Often when we start our ministry, we are really on fire but once we are at that spot, we just shrink and become fearful.
However, the verse reminds us no matter how young we are, never let that be a stumbling block or reason to hold us back from being effective in our ministry. Not just that, we can be an example in everything that we do especially in our speech and action.
In the world where we are pressured by the world, I think it's important that we do not be affected by it but instead to be a blessing to people around us.

open letter for the new year
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
Just thought of writing a note that some people call these days as "open letter".
Prior
of my move back to KL, maybe a lot of people think that it seems like a
straight-up decision, but truth to be told, there's a lot of thinking
and praying involved whether it is the right time or not.
As
time passes, it seems clear to me about the decision and I want to
thank Bishop Meltar, Canon Khee Vun, Dean and even Rev Philip for their
understanding. Not forgetting, the late Bishop Albert Vun for giving me
the opportunity to experience the Sabah life and ministry first-hand.
Well,
there are a lot of people I want to thank. From the top management of
Diocese to ASC staff to ministry members and church members. Thank you
for the friendship and time to help me feel at home here. There's a lot
of friendship renewed and built.
I
also want to take this opportunity to say sorry for the weakness,
shortcomings and disappointments that I caused during my time here at
KK. I know I have did in some way or another.
All
in all, there were some good things and disappointments but I guess
that is part and parcel of life with God. But in every circumstances, I
thank God that He has always watch over me and I can testify from time
and time again, His grace is always sufficient for me.
Sabah
is actually not a bad place. In fact, it's a place where I really wish
many of my west Malaysian friends would come to enjoy the beauty of
nature and experiencing the unity of all the races here. For that, it is
an experience that I am thankful for the rest of my life
There's
so many experiences and lessons for me to share during my time here but
I guess I will just save them for coffee/yamcha/catchup sessions or
other times. Hahaha. I can't just spill so much here or else, it's too
lengthy.
YES,
this is not a "forever goodbye" as I would be still dropping by KK
time and time again. As another chapter of life begin, my hope that
everyone would able to experience the same as well. The heart of this
note is more of reflection of this chapter of my life ahead of my next
chapter. It's a note of hope.
The
Bible says there's always season for everything. So, remember that life
is short. Don't waste it on negativity, instead be positive.
See you when I see you. Cheers and much love.
