To those who made this night possible by serving in every ways, thank you so much for your heart. To those who came, thank you as well and hope you are blessed, just as much I did personally.

A lot of things just fall into place nicely, a testimony that God always takes care of those who trust Him, because prior to today, I wrestle with a lot of personal thoughts. Anyway, whatever happens in the future, should you have feedback, testimonies and thoughts about just now, just DM/PM. It would be helpful, seriously.

And oh, hope you all like the new song i debuted just now. I actually wrote it when i was still in Sabah few years ago, just that I didn’t have the chance to share it. I guess it’s God’s timing that i am able to do it this year, with the help of timlimproject band who made it sound superb. Credit to them.

Anyway, like I said in my previous status, 29th September has plenty of reasons to give thanks for. Cheers to God and all of you who make it all possible.

Just so you know too, I am still a MU fan.

As the name suggests, it’s about bringing everyone from different backgrounds together in unity to worship and honour Him. Thus, this beautiful picture captures that meaning.

#throwbackthursday to last year’s #fccpraiseunited. It was a blast with my fellow #heartcore fam A.RON and RELENT. I believe this year is gonna be epic as well.

Well, for this year, South and The Lowlands will be dropping by, along with their new single “lionheart” and also some great songs from their upcoming album. We gonna be among the first to hear it live so what a privilege we would have!

I will be doing some songs as well, including a new song! So come and hear it LIVE! =D

What a night and what a conference.

Obviously past few days I've been busy but my heart is really full - seeing how God is moving and how passionate the people are.

Many thanks to all involved and those who came. Many names to mention but I am really proud of all of you. All glory to God!!!

Quick shoutout to the worship team for putting in their heart and soul in leading worship during conference. I wanna appreciate all of you - both directly involved or not involved because everyone has a role to play in building His kingdom. I believe God will honour each one of you as you honour Him. May God continue to lead us as a ministry as we serve together in His name, especially with exciting things ahead. 

Next up : we are bringing this to Sabah soon - in the upcoming Diocese Youth camp. Can’t wait to be there, so 12th June night will be the IGNITE night so pray with us.

triple threat

Past few days have been crazy. 3 shows in a row. Never thought I would have done something like this. 

My buddy Neil (of RELENT) said something that sum up what I am passionate about - paraphrasing him, “we just need to move out of our comfort zone to share the message of love to the world”

So that’s the foundation of what I do and what I am passionate about.
 
I am just grateful for the experiences from these few days and also for the people I met. Huge thanks to everyone for the love and support.
 
Probably will be taking a breather for awhile but do stay tuned to my fb music page for updates.
Like i said yesterday - best is yet to come.

Last weekend was totally LIT!

Ignite was probably the most craziest yet happening event ever done at FCC. Literally LIT. The heart of it is that it will create a spark in our hearts, igniting our passion in our journey in knowing God.

I believe that happened tonight and I pray that this will set us up to experience something greater for Him.

A huge thanks to all who were involved in making this all possible. I am very proud and thankful for every single one of you. Your energy is just amazing.

Let’s keep this momentum going!!

It's been some time i did a full band gig and big thanks to Wayne and Mickey for making it possible. You all are legends.

Wished most of you all were there to watch it. Please don't miss the next one and beyond. Everyone brought their A-game so it will be guaranteed awesomeness.

night of worship

Tonight was something I won't forget in a hurry. Loved how God moved and how we respond with our heart of worship. 

Reading some testimonies and seeing the pictures of every cell groups warms my heart to know our God is moving. 

And His love is unstoppable 😃I don't know where God will lead us from here, but I can only believe He prepares the best for those who believe in Him.
 
My heart is just grateful for everything that happened tonight. This year have been ups and downs but God is good, all the time.
 
And all the time, He is good.
 
Thank you all for making this night wonderful. All glory to Him!

timlimproject's 2016 lookback

2017 is around the corner. Here's a super #throwbackthursday on timlimproject's 2016 gigs journey.

One of my 2016 resolution is to get this music/gig train running again after some quiet time in KK. I set out to do it, with a prayerful heart. Looking back, I am grateful to God for His grace in fulfilling that resolution.

There were lots of memorable moments and I am thankful for it. I am grateful for all the friends I made throughout this journey. They are wonderful and their love for music inspires me to be better.

2017 is going to be awesome. I just can feel it. Anyway, please follow Tim Lim for the updates. There's ideas waiting to be shared, time will tell what it is all about.

A huge thanks for all the support and love. Cheers and much love.

I was briefly mentioned on a local Christian website. Ok, largely the article is about what's heartcore is all about. I am so honoured to be part of something that is bigger than myself.

Meanwhile, free advertisement for Faith Christian Centre since all the pictures taken from the recent #fccgoesheartcore event. And one of the songs performed that night is riding high on Hitz.fm

All glory to God, greater things are yet to come

just a #heartcore testimony

I thought I want to share this testimony. A testimony to show of God's grace and glory.

I guess a lot of people's impression that I came out with this awesome pun concert name called Heartcore. hahaha. Sorry it wasn't me but well, read about the story here about it means actually..

In a nutshell, Heartcore is all about our hearts being centered on God, coming back to heart in serving and worship. So it's appropriate that this concert, the heart of it is God Himself.

To organize Heartcore in FCC is not easy. The details to look into was taxing. It's tiring, can't stress that more, when some people give unnecessary stress on details. I know a lot of people often say "this guy always love to do concert", truth is.. doing concert is not easy and I don't do it for the sake of doing it. To add to that, a lot of people have different views what a concert should be.. moreover, an "evangelistic concert".  But looking up to God is the remedy. Often, I trust God will move in ways that we cannot imagine.


One of the faint ideas I have prior to coming to KL is to explore doing a concert this year at FCC. I actually prayed about it. I've been going around with ideas like doing one on our own or get performers in (something like what I have done with RELENT over the years).

I actually heard and read about Heartcore tour, in fact Neil (of RELENT) shared with me about it. I love their idea and it's actually my dream (or vision) to be part of something big for God. I did roughly kept in touch with Jeff Kumar on Facebook and we've met up occasionally but it was my meeting with Darren Teh (An Honest Mistake singer who also plays bass in AOT) that changes everything.

We talked more about the Heartcore initiative and it is exactly what I love to be part of. Then immediately I sold that idea to my senior pastor who so happened to be at where we were discussing. Since then, ground work has been laid.

What I am trying to say is as I reflect back on what happened, I learn that when you commit your plans to God, when you seek Him then you go and work on it, God will open doors.

Another dream come true for me is to work together with AOT. I heard of them since I was young and they are the band that inspired me to go all out for God in music. I always hope to meet them someday, perhaps to collaborate on something.

It was this song that changed my view on music especially local Christian music. I have heard Christian hard rock albums before, especially from America (think Kutless, Relient K, Thousand foot krutch) but for something local like this, I feel that's something to take note of. And yes, I keep looping this song every now and then. Even today. CLASSIC =)



Many years on, here I am today with my own songs and albums with a purpose all out for God. All thanks to God's leading that we have the opportunity to meet and now, we are working together on this mission to use local Christian music to impact the nation here and beyond. We have been keeping in touch a lot lately because we are totally sold out on this mission and it's exciting to see how God is leading us towards that mission. Loving the fact I am part of something that is bigger than myself.

In summary, only God can make this radical dream come true and possible. Only GOD.


This whole experience can only inspire me to trust in God for open doors and a reminder that the best is yet to come.

I hope this inspires you as well to live and pursue God for your dreams, ambitions and hopes. It can be music, it can be arts, it can be a working field, it can be in an area or a mission field that God has planted in you.

I always love what C.S. Lewis said  — 'You are never too old to set another goal, or to dream a new dream.'

Anyway, thanks all for being part of this awesome concert. The testimonies I hear so far have been encouraging. At the same time, I appreciate all the feedback that I have hear.

Thanks to all the acts -- Army of Three, Relent, Joanne&Julia, South&the Lowlands and Kent Sim. Thanks cell leaders and ushers in doing the ground work. Thank you everyone who came, I believed you are blessed by what God is doing through everyone's gift -- be it music or the ushering.

Heartcore @ FCC

Glad to announce that the Heartcore tour will be coming to FCC!

It will be an amazing night of music/worship with 6 acts. The lineups are : Johor band South and The Lowlands, Kent Sim, Joanne and Julia, the local music heroes Army Of Three and RELENT. Yours truly will be performing as well and will be hosting the night.

Best part of the concert is that it is FREE! You must not come alone, so bring your friends and people around you!!!

It's a rare occasion that we get to gather all the local music artist under one roof and it's all because we all love Jesus

ASMA concert 2015

This is happening exactly next week!!!

Do come and witness musical talents from ASMA (all saints music academy) performing awesome songs from various genres of music, ranging from pop to rock to jazz to classical.

Sidney Mohede at KK

The world-renown worship leader Sidney Mohede was in KK over the weekend and I had the chance to attend his workshop and his night concert as well.

His workshop was simple although it does feel that people want more from it. The big takeaway is that I get to have a selfie with the man himself.

Night concert was brilliant. Personally, I was blessed very much. Very much refreshed by presence of God. 

One big takeaway for me is that no matter what happen, God is in control. It is so true with so many things we are hearing about this country but seriously, our faith should not be shaken for God is our cornerstone.

Thank You God for a wonderful Saturday. Thank you Sidney and JPCC for coming to KK. You can say it's really God's timing that you are around.
