It was one of those days when I have a battle within myself about life. After lunch, I was led to read Hebrews 6:19 -- "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain"
During youth fellowship activity today, they sang "Captain" by Hillsong United which actually anchors on this verse and also referenced to the story from Mark 4:35-41. I see that as an assurance from God.
How many times we choose to "abandon ship" when storms of life hits us, without thinking that Jesus is the captain of the ship who will take us through those storms.
It's been 4 years since my 2nd album was released. THE DAY AFTER is
all about looking forward to hope and life ahead. It is a reflection of
Matthew 6:36 -- "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow
will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Every year of the album release anniversary gives me an opportunity to
reflect on the journey so far and being grateful for all the love shown.
Cheers to you all, i hope the songs in this album will inspire you to live a life to the fullest. When i read back some testimonies, i am blessed and encouraged.
I believe that greater things will come. I am not sure when it will
happen but i will just trust God that He is preparing the best to those
who trust in Him.
Again, cheers to all of you for your love for this 2nd album. #timlimproject
I was trying recall if I am posted this song before but nevertheless, it's worth mentioning again.
Had goosebumps when I was singing "no longer slaves" last weekend. Sometimes life can be tough and we forget who we are, so it's a beautiful reminder of our identity in God -- that we are a child of God, beautifully and wonderfully made in His image.
One of the things i realized about toy models is that they have
platform or foundation which they can stand on. It's good to know that
whatever position or however you placed them, they will not fall down or
worse (for more fragile ones), broken.
This toy model (or
illustration) reminds that the foundation of our life should be God's
word. Whenever storms of life or earthquakes of life happens, we will
not be shaken because God's word is our foundation.
Luke
6:46-49. To understand Jesus' question -- Why do you call me Lord Lord and do not do what i say?" -- is to search our hearts to know
whose principal or word are we living out.
They
are one of those bands where I have nearly all of their albums. They
are a huge inspiration to me when I was growing up, the days when
"everyday" & "one way" were "hits".
Looking
at their trailer reminds me of the journey they have went through and
was reminded how God has use them in a great way. What started off as a
youth ministry is now a global phenom.
There's so much I can say but may God's name be glorified through this documentary.
